Established publisher of both nonfiction and fiction books is seeking a talented intern who can work with us to promote our books, our scholarly journal, and our authors. You will be expected to work with podcast producers, radio talk show producers, editors of print publications, and editors of online publications to arrange interviews and coverage of our books and with our authors. You will also be expected to work with us in setting up online events and symposiums featuring our authors. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about learning the public relations business and the event planning business. Hundreds of our past interns have used their time working with us to launch impressive careers. This is totally remote, and we estimate that the opportunity will require a commitment of at least 5 hours a week. This can be used for the experience alone or can be used to satisfy a college internship requirement. Work begins in early January.
