Bob Kieserman, Publisher
Bob Kieserman is the author, editor, and publisher of books, professional journals, and articles. Under the imprints of Therapy Books, MedFocus Publishing and Research, and Patient Press, he has brought information and education to a diverse audience including rehab therapists, healthcare providers, library directors and managers, human resources directors and their employees, and an international patient population. Bob has also dedicated his publishing work to featuring the creative talents of young professionals, giving them platforms to research and write for his many publishing projects, helping to launch many successful careers.
Sarai Nolasco, Associate Publisher
Sarai Nolasco is a recent graduate of the Royal College of Art based in London, UK with a postgraduate degree in visual communication. She is passionate about communication and design and the way it tells our stories. She is interested in exploring how illustration and design can help improve communication within the health sector. Through the power of visual communication, she would like to enhance the patient experience, promote health and wellness, and support healthcare marketing efforts. Sarai has a bachelors degree in Advertising from Appalachian State University with a minor in marketing. She also has a small business called Sirenita Stickers where she designs and creates stickers based off of different locations around the world. As a Salvadoran-American, her practice is inspired by Latin American culture and values like positivity, hard-work, and community. In her free time she likes to run, illustrate, and travel. In her role of Associate Publisher, Sarai oversees the pre-publication of all of our patient-centered books.
Rachel Schaller, Senior Editor
Rachel Schaller holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Classical Studies from Hope College. She also earned a Master's degree in Children's Literature from Kansas State University. She has eight years of experience in various office administrative roles and a budding career in publishing. Her favorite publishing categories are children's publishing and comics. She especially loves nonfiction children's publishing and the Graphic Medicine movement. She is passionate about producing content that informs and empowers readers.
